VAJRAKILAYA RETREAT

KHENPO SAMDUP
RINPOCHE

GARCHEN MEDITATION CENTER

May 10, 11 and 12, 2024. Av. Paseo de la Reforma 222, Mexico City.

Vajrakilaya is the wrathful form of Buddha Vajrasattva.

The practice of Vajrakilaya is particularly effective in overcoming obstacles and passing through negative mental states and conceptual thoughts, destroying forces hostile to compassion and purifying the spiritual pollution so prevalent in this age. It is known as the 'eliminator of obstacles par excellence'.

His distinctive iconographic feature is the dagger called phurba or kīla. The phurba (Sanskrit: kila) was designed to symbolically consume the triple poisons of ignorance, greed and anger that impede spiritual progress.

In presence and online from Garchen Meditation Center.
